In March, Bruce announced his retirement from acting due to aphasia, which impaired his communication abilities. By February 2023, the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia was made public, marking a challenging period for the Willis family.

Tallulah, Bruce’s daughter with Demi Moore, revealed she battled anorexia after her fiancé Dillon Buss ended their relationship shortly after Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis. Since then, there have been limited updates on her condition, but Bruce was reportedly deeply affected by his daughter’s struggle.

Tallulah’s Struggles and Candid Revelations

Tallulah sought treatment at an in-patient facility post-breakup and was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. In a heartfelt essay for Vogue, she shared her battle with body dysmorphia, which began when she started taking medication for ADHD. The medication, while making her feel intellectually capable, also suppressed her appetite.

“There’s an unhealthy deliciousness at the beginning of losing weight rapidly. People are like, ‘Oh wow!’ And then quickly it turns to, ‘Are you okay?’ My friends and family were terrified, and I dismissed it,” Tallulah recounted.

By spring 2022, Tallulah’s weight had dropped to around 84 pounds. She constantly felt cold, relied on mobile IV teams, and avoided walking in her neighborhood out of fear of not finding a place to rest.
