Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble: A Journey of Body Modifications and Regret
Everyone has moments of regret and wishes they could undo past choices. Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, an Australian enthusiast of body modifications with over 200 tattoos, has faced significant regrets about his body art journey.
Early Decisions and Extensive Modifications
Tattoos are a popular form of self-expression, but Ethan took it to an extreme. Starting at just 11 years old, he began stretching his ears, marking the beginning of numerous body modifications. Over the years, he has undergone various procedures, including tongue splitting and belly button removal, in addition to his extensive tattoos.

The Cost of Expression
Ethan’s tattoos are his most striking feature, covering his entire body. He revealed that he spent approximately $60,000 AUD (around $39,000 USD) on his tattoos. Reflecting on his choices during an interview with LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, Ethan admitted to having some regrets. He explained, “Not just regret, I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently.” He is particularly concerned about being judged during everyday activities, especially when taking his daughter to school.

Regrets and Removal
Despite being content with his appearance, Ethan wishes he hadn’t gone as far with facial tattoos. To address his concerns, he has been undergoing laser tattoo removal for about a year. He described the process: “I’ve been getting laser [surgery], or have been, for pretty much 12 months… We do it in sections, but I’ve probably gone over the full thing six or seven times.”

Looking Forward
Ethan aims to gradually reduce his facial tattoos over the next two years to “clear the canvas” and alleviate the anxiety associated with his heavily tattooed face. This journey highlights the complexities of self-expression and the importance of considering long-term impacts.
