Kevin Feige slyly revealed a new Deadpool 3 logo similar to a fan artist’s version

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige may have subtly unveiled the official logo for Deadpool 3 at this year’s Saturn Awards. During his appearance on stage, Feige wore one of his signature production hats, often used to tease logos and titles for upcoming projects, including Deadpool 3.

The hat featured a logo merging one side of Deadpool’s mask with Wolverine’s iconic yellow mask on the other side. Interestingly, the design closely resembled a mockup created by a graphic designer known as screenpai.

The designer, who had crafted a fanart poster with a similar logo back in October 2022, shared their thoughts on Instagram Stories. They acknowledged the similarity between their design and the one on Feige’s hat but clarified that they had not been contacted about its use.

Expressing understanding of overlapping creative ideas, the artist emphasized that they did not claim ownership over the design and were grateful for the acknowledgment, despite not being contacted by Marvel.

While Marvel has not commented on the matter, the artist expressed excitement about the similarity between the designs. Deadpool 3 is set to premiere in theaters on July 26.
