With our presence in thousands of communities nationwide, we understand that these issues can occasionally manifest within our stores as well. We read each incident report you submit – and there are quite a few.”
Stroud and Nelson emphasize that creating a safe and welcoming environment is a top priority for Starbucks. They stress the importance of employee well-being, stating, “We cannot serve as partners if we don’t first feel safe at work. The question on our minds is: How do we continue to show up for our communities while safeguarding our partners?”
