‘The Last of Us’ Season 2 image reveals Ellie with Jesse and Dina

Excitement is building for the upcoming second season of HBO’s The Last of Us as filming is set to begin in Vancouver, Canada. Recently, stars Bella Ramsey, Isabela Merced, and Young Mazino were snapped together in an image, signaling the start of production.

Ramsey reprises her role as Ellie, while Merced and Mazino join the cast as Dina and Jesse, respectively. Pedro Pascal will also return as Joel, though he wasn’t present in the recent image. Filming is scheduled to commence on February 12.

In the photo, executive producer Jacqueline Lesko and co-creator Craig Mazin join the cast, hinting at the collaborative effort behind the series. With the storyline likely to follow the trajectory of the original video game, the focus is expected to be on Ellie, particularly given the events of The Last of Us Part II.
