Sony Pictures has unveiled official logos for their highly anticipated projects, including a Karate Kid reboot and the third installment of the Tom Hardy-led Venom series. The Karate Kid reboot will see the return of past stars Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, and the studio also introduced the logo for the upcoming Venom sequel, Venom 3, featuring Hardy as Eddie Brock.
During a presentation outlining Sony Pictures’ upcoming slate for 2024, logos for several other projects were also revealed, including Bad Boys 4, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Kraven the Hunter, and Madame Web. Fans eagerly anticipated the reveal of the Venom 3 logo, with some suggesting the title “V3NOM,” a popular fan choice since the second film, Let There Be Carnage.
The Karate Kid reboot logo sparked speculation about the film’s setting, with the sun-styled background hinting at a New York City backdrop, a departure from the series’ usual Los Angeles setting. Venom 3 is slated for release in November and will continue the storyline from Let There Be Carnage and its tie-in with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
While Hardy’s character has crossed paths with Holland’s Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, any confirmation of Holland’s appearance in Venom 3 remains undisclosed. As fans await further updates, all titles mentioned are scheduled for release in 2024.
